Our Mission
TSS Foundation, Inc. is a recently formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults remain safe, informed, and confident in an increasingly digital world. As an all-volunteer organization, we are committed to promoting digital equity while addressing one of the most serious challenges facing older adults today: the growing threat of online scams, fraud, and technology-enabled financial exploitation.
Our educational programs combine scam awareness and online safety training, artificial intelligence literacy, and practical digital skills designed specifically for older adults. Through classroom instruction, hands-on learning, and our patent-pending SATA™ (Scam Awareness Training Application), participants learn how to recognize common scam tactics, identify warning signs, protect their personal information, and make safer decisions when communicating by email, text message, telephone, and online.
Although we are a young organization, TSS Foundation has already begun building meaningful community partnerships. We have worked with Selfhelp Community Services in Queens to deliver an extended scam prevention and AI literacy program for older adults, collaborated with Oak Street Health to provide educational seminars at its facilities, and developed relationships with organizations serving seniors beyond New York, including Joint Family in the Boston area.
These partnerships have helped demonstrate both the need for practical, senior-focused digital education and the potential for our programs to reach a much larger population.
Our next goal is to expand TSS Foundation's programs citywide throughout New York City, bringing scam prevention, online safety, AI literacy, and digital skills education to more senior centers and community organizations. With increased financial support, we can expand our volunteer network, develop additional educational resources, enhance SATA™, and ultimately build a scalable model that can serve older adults well beyond New York City.
We believe that protecting seniors in the digital age requires more than simply warning them about scams. It requires education, practice, confidence, and continued access to the tools needed to safely participate in today's digital society. Our mission is to help ensure that no older adult is left behind or left vulnerable as technology continues to transform everyday life.
Sponsorships support TSS Foundation's charitable and educational mission and do not confer goods, services, advertising, or promotional benefits to the sponsor.
